Accessibility
Our Venue, Thorp Academy, is very accessible. Outdoors we can drive onto the field and we still have access to the building for welfare facilities.
The building has a step free entrance, accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. It is well lit and there are disabled toilets.
Chairs are available indoors but we’d advise you to bring your own for outdoors if possible.
For those who use public transport, a bus stop is right outside the front of the school, served by the 10 & 10A Tyne Valley bus.
As you approach the school turn into Barmoor Lane, the entrance gate is 30m on the left. If you use what3words the entrance gate is at ledge/claps/aims .
Follow the road down the hill and to the rear of the buildings. Park on the Tennis court.
From April to October, you should see us on the field. From October to April, we use the sports hall, the entrance to which is under the portico on the left before you enter the tennis courts.
